Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

• Perform calibration, verification, and preventative maintenance of precision measurement equipment and gauges.
• Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts, tooling, and fixtures using CMMs, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, and other metrology tools.
• Document calibration records, inspection results, and non-conformance reports accurately and thoroughly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve measurement discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and provide technical support to production.
• Develop, implement, and maintain metrology procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
• Analyze measurement data to identify trends, process variations, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Support the selection, acquisition, and validation of new metrology equipment.

• Proficiency in operating and programming CMMs, vision systems, and conventional metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Solid understanding of measurement principles, calibration processes, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) and data analysis for quality control.
• Technical degree or certification in metrology, quality assurance, or a related technical discipline.

• Proficiency in CMM programming languages (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as laser scanners, CT scanners, or structured light systems.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar continuous improvement methodology training.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process capability studies.
• Ability to interpret and utilize CAD models (e.g., Solid Works, CATIA) for measurement planning and analysis.
