At Atlas, we’re providing services that enable communities to flourish and thrive, and if you’re a CMT Field Technician ready to perform advanced field and laboratory testing for Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA), concrete, soils, and aggregates to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. and committed to doing meaningful work, then this is your moment. This role requires an experienced professional with 2+ years in the construction industry, and the ability to work independently while supporting local and statewide offices.

• Conduct material testing for HMA, concrete, soils, and aggregates in the field, laboratory, or plant.
• Ensure compliance with TxDOT and City of Austin specifications and support quality control and production oversight.
• Perform daily quality control and assurance sampling and testing to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Provide technical support to roadway personnel, addressing placement testing inquiries and performing testing.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Abide by all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and manage incoming data streams, ensuring all inputs are correctly received and categorized according to established protocols.
• Perform initial assessments on system-generated tasks and queries, applying foundational knowledge to resolve basic issues.
