Sterling Performance is an independent, ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing laboratory in Milford, Michigan. We're looking for a hands-on Test Technician to set up, run and document validation testing in our 34,000+ square-foot lab.## What you'll do
* Prepare samples and set up test fixtures, instrumentation and data acquisition
* Run fuel system, environmental, vibration, materials and EV battery tests to written procedures
* Monitor tests, record observations and data accurately, and flag anything out of tolerance
* Maintain test equipment and keep the lab clean, organized and safe
* Work with engineers to troubleshoot setups and deliver results on time## What we're looking for
* Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, fixtures and test equipment
* Careful attention to detail and accurate record keeping
* Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements
* Experience in a test lab, automotive, or manufacturing environment is a plus##
