Summary:

** The Post Doctoral Fellow in the Division of Genetic, Environmental and Inhalation Disease participates in research focused on cystic fibrosis-related diabetes to improve understanding of disease mechanisms and identify approaches to prevent and treat cystic fibrosis-related diabetes. This role provides advanced research training to support the development of an independent research career. The fellow conducts research under the guidance of Dr.

Rob Tarran, engages in professional development activities, and contributes to independent and collaborative research, dissemination of findings, and laboratory activities.##

** Research & Lab Responsibilities
* Conduct research under PI mentorship.
* Design, execute, and analyze experiments or studies.
* Collect, manage, and interpret datasets.
* Contribute to protocols, manuals, and regulatory documents.
* Collaborate with the PI, faculty, and research teams on project direction and results interpretation.

Scholarly Output & Grant Writing
* Prepare manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations for peer-reviewed journals and scientific meetings.
* Assist in preparing research proposals or other funding submissions.

Professional Development & Mentorship
* Participate in seminars, workshops, and professional development activities.
* Develop and follow an Individual Development Plan (IDP).
* Mentor graduate or undergraduate students, interns, or trainees.
* Present research findings pliance
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date research records.
* Adhere to IRB, IACUC, data security, and other compliance policies.
