Scientist Ito join our Dermatology

Discovery teamat the Cambridge Research Center in Cambridge, MA. This researcher will contribute to the identification and validation of novel therapeutics for inflammatoryskindiseases.

The Dermatology Discovery teamapplieshuman disease transcriptomic and multi-omicsdata setsin combination with wet-bench science to perform mechanistic in vitro studies with the overarching goalto elucidate disease-drivingmechanismsthat will advance innovative therapeutic strategies. The successful candidate willplay a key role inthepreclinicalresearch team byconductingin vitro models focusing on human translation to HS andPsO.

The ideal candidate is scientifically curious, collaborative,enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated. This position requires passion, attention to detail, prior hands-on experience, and teamwork within a fast-paced drug discovery environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sterile cell culture (cell lines and primary human and murinecells)

• Process and analyze ex-vivo human tissues for disease-relevant endpoints

• Perform analyses using the following techniques:

• Develop and implement assays that monitor cellular processes

• Analyzedata using appropriate statistical methods and communicate findings through presentations and scientific discussions

• Maintain detailed experimental records and ensure compliance with electronic laboratory notebook

• Prior hands-on experience with keratinocytes, fibroblasts, and immune cells (Th17 T cell differentiation, macrophage polarization) is a plus

• Candidates with priorexperiencein complex human in vitro modelwill receive extra consideration

• Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, immunology or other biological sciences (BS/BA) with 5 years of experience

• Master’s degree with 2 years of experience is desired
