The Line Cookis  responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing food to the executive chef’s specifications andis responsible forsettingeach kitchen station for the day’s menu.

Line Cook duties also includeassistingthe executive chef and sous chef with their daily tasks which may include but are not limited to preparing ingredients, portioning food for plating, andensuringeach stationisoperatingatoptimumlevels.

This position andwill require working instudioon a regular basis. You maybe required to traveland work out ofourstudios in Santa Monica and Hollywood. You must be willing to work overtimeandweekends.

Available to work variable shifts, including second shift and swing shift, as necessary per business needs.

• Work with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
• Maintain aclean and sanitary workstations areas including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection ovens, flat top ranges, and refrigerators.
• Ensuring kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.
• Handles, stores, and rotates items according to applicable standards.
• Assistsin food preparation assignation during off-peak as needed.
• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of all products served.
• Handle special projects as needed.

• Familiar with industry’s best practices.
• Culinary school diploma is a plus.
• Strong processand attention to detail.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment;and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Greatinterpersonalskills, be meticulous, alwaysorganizedand work calmly and professionally especially during high pressure situations.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and communicating effectively with others.
