The Food & Beverage Expeditor coordinates communication between kitchen and service teams, ensuring every dish meets presentation and timing standards before it reaches the guest. This role reports to the Food + Beverage Manager and combines quality control with fast-paced order coordination. Success in this role looks like accurate, well-timed tickets and consistent quality checks during high-volume service.

Responsibilities Excellence in Execution- Inspect every dish for presentation, temperature, and recipe accuracy before release to the dining room.
- Coordinate order management and ticket organization, prioritizing timing sequences.
- Maintain plate presentation and garnish placement standards.
- Monitor holding temperatures, rotation procedures, and sanitation standards throughout expediting activities.
- Support inventory of garnishes, plates, and expediting supplies, communicating needs to management.
- Keep expediting stations clean, stocked, and efficiently arranged.
- Facilitate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams on special requests, dietary restrictions, and modifications.
- Coordinate special dietary accommodations closely with kitchen staff.
- Monitor service timing and flow, proactively communicating delays to service teams.
- Support food preparation, ingredient organization, and station setup during peak service periods as needed.
- Strong English communication skills, facilitating clear interactions between kitchen staff, servers, and management under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality control ability.
- Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining timing precision during high-volume periods.
- Working knowledge of food safety protocols, temperature requirements, and sanitation standards.
- Obtain and maintain a Washington State Food Worker Card.
- Multilingual capabilities.
Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage for this positions is: $22.50 - $24.25/hr
This is a non-benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
