Job Description & How to Apply Below

At 7th Floor Hospitality Group, we don’t just serve food and drink. We serve moments. Flossmoor Social is where community and creativity meet, and every guest interaction is a chance to turn an ordinary night into one people remember.

Inspired by Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara, we believe the smallest gestures can have the greatest impact, and that real hospitality starts with being present, thoughtful and generous in how we serve.

You are the pulse of the bar. You make great cocktails with precision and serve them with warmth and joy. You learn names, remember favorites and see what a guest needs before they ask. Shaking, stirring or telling the story behind a drink, you are always turning strangers into regulars.

Craft with Care:
Make cocktails, mocktails and classics with consistency, creativity and attention to detail.

Lead with Hospitality:
Make every guest at the bar feel seen and welcome. Offer water, a napkin or a recommendation before anyone asks.

Connect for Real:
Build rapport with eye contact and real conversation. Remember names and preferences.

Share What You Know:
Tell the story of a cocktail, suggest a wine or share tasting notes in a way that feels personal, not rehearsed.

Serve Beyond the Bar:
Turn service bar tickets quickly and accurately for the whole dining room.

Support the Floor:
Work hand in hand with servers, food runners and the kitchen.

Stay Curious:
Keep learning about spirits, wine, technique and trends, and bring your ideas.

Be Generous:
Share your knowledge, lift up teammates and help outside your station.

Set the Standard:
Represent the brand in every detail, from your posture to your pour.

Keep the Bar Ready:
Keep your station stocked, organized and clean at all times.

Handle It Right:
Ring in and close out bar and table orders accurately, and handle cash and cards securely.

Follow the Law:
Follow all state alcohol laws and safety rules, and s as required.

Watch Inventory:
Help track usage and tell leadership when something is running low.

Know the Menu:
Study the food and drinks, the flavor profiles, the pairings and the stories behind each dish and cocktail.

Master the System:
Use the POS quickly and accurately, and double check every order before it goes.

Learn, Share, Repeat:
Ask questions, come to training and keep growing as a bartender and as a person.

Experience:

1 to 2 years bartending in an upscale, fast paced setting preferred. Cocktail and wine knowledge is a must.

Physical Readiness:
Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly and safely.

Availability:
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays and events.
