The Kitchen Support role contributes to the overall daily kitchen operations. This role is a vital part of the kitchen team. They will play a key part in stewarding, stocking and organization to ensure efficiency.  Kitchen Support Requirements

* Education:

High School Diploma
* Years of Related

Experience:

1 year in professional food service operation

* Licenses/Certifications:

Must be able to obtain Serv Safe certification within the first 90 days.  Kitchen Support

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Works well in a fast-paced environment
* Detail oriented
* High energy, positive attitude
* General knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment  Kitchen Support Duties:
* Kitchen Operations Maintenance
* Responsible for ware-washing, assist with kitchen production and meals. Ensures all wares are polished and stored to meet our high standards.
* Consolidation and rotation of prepared food items daily
* Performs stewarding tasks such as receiving, stocking, and tracking inventory to meet established food safety standards
* Roll silverware, fold napkins, bus tables
* Ensures daily and weekly cleaning schedules are met
* Monitor and report equipment maintenance issues
* Food Prep
* Assist Chefs with food prep tasks as assigned
* Setup buffets, beverage service and snack stations, restocking and refreshing stations as needed  Why Clayton?
