POSITION OPEN Food Prep and light duty cooking
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated, reliable, and upbeat individual to join our team. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment preparing specialty coffee drinks, handling food prep, and doing light cooking. A passion for great coffee, quality food, and customer service is a must!
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to exact recipes and standards.
• Operate espresso machine, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
• Prepare food items such as breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and other light menu offerings.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and merchandise as needed.
• Greet customers, take orders, and process payments with a positive, professional attitude.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
Qualifications:
• Previous barista or food service experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a team environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
