• Performs duties of cooking, baking, preparing specialty dishes. Creates new dishes from a variety of recipes.
• Coordinates the work of employees performing a variety of kitchen duties such as cooking, baking, sanitation, washing pots and pans, etc.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas.
• Controls food costs through proper utilization of products and storage of food; assists with training new staff.

This position is eligible for an approved Sign-on bonus of $800 in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(6).

EDUCATION: NONE

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR

SKILLS:

Two years of cooking experience in an institutional or large scale commercial setting.

Substitute EDUCATION for

EXPERIENCE:

Vocational training in food services will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis.
