Summary:

The Sales Associate is a frontline point of contact for customers, performing cash handling, stocking, merchandising, and general store upkeep to support a positive customer experience and protect company assets.

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate the cash register, scanner, and handle payment transactions, including change and bagging items.
• Follow merchandising processes—unpack, stock, restock, rotate merchandise, and create displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness, take out trash, dust, mop floors, and clean restrooms and receiving areas.
• Assist with sidewalk displays and other outlets as required.

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic cash handling and mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform cash register functions and stock merchandise.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Frequent walking & standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling to run check‑out station, stock merchandise, and unload trucks.
• Handling merchandise and equipment, including handheld scanners, pricing guns, box cutters, containers, two‑wheel dollies, and U‑boats (six‑wheel carts).
• Regular lifting of up to 40 pounds, occasional lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Occasional climbing using step ladder up to 6 feet.
• Fast‑paced environment, moderate noise level, and occasional exposure to outdoor weather.
