The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing premier customer service to all current and potential customers from the point of initial contact through delivery of the products while achieving sales and profit goals established by the General Manager.

• Provide superior customer service while increasing sales results.
• Process customer orders by taking the required attention to detail to meet quality standards.
• Promptly respond to Request for Quotes for current and potential customers. Goal is no later than 24 hours per RFQ.
• Communicate in a professional manner via phone and email to grow sales and develop customer relationships.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize daily workload.
• Develop forecasting methods to work together with customers and establish accurate material forecasts.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals set by the Inside Sales Manager and General Manager.
• Proactively review open orders and advise customers of delivery status changes.
• Provide technical assistance and solutions for customer returns.
• Develop and maintain existing product knowledge and sales materials.
• Contribute to a positive work environment based on teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively with other Inside Sales Representatives, Field Sales Representatives, Management, Quality, Warehouse, and other co-workers.
• Adhere to all CMI safety rules, regulations, and quality standards, handbook policies, procedures, and business codes of ethics.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of sales experience
• Market experience, ensuring ability to recognize opportunities
• Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Bachelor’sdegree in business, marketing, or related area
• 4+ years of sales and marketing experience

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills, and time management skills
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to transfer data accurately
• Strong work ethic; self-motivated
• Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and supplier
