Sales Development Representative

Elite Hockey HQ is looking for a Sales Development Representative to help grow our pipeline of athletes, teams, and partners. Elite Hockey HQ is a training platform built for hockey players, combining periodized programs, skill video, and daily readiness tracking into one system used by players across youth, junior, and college leagues. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospective customers, qualifying inbound interest and proactively reaching out to teams, leagues, and individual athletes who could benefit from the platform.

• Identify and research prospective customers, including individual athletes, team staff, and league organizations
• Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social channels to generate qualified leads
• Respond to and qualify inbound leads from the website, free trial signups, and demo requests
• Book qualified meetings and demos for the sales team
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline status in the CRM
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach strategy based on what's resonating

• Prior experience in a sales, customer-facing, or outreach role (SDR/BDR experience a plus, but not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with high-volume outbound activity (calls, emails, social outreach)
• Ability to quickly learn a product and clearly explain its value to different types of buyers
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working toward pipeline and activity targets
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) or willingness to learn quickly

• Background in or familiarity with hockey or competitive youth/junior sports
• Experience selling to coaches, athletic departments, or sports organizations
• Experience with subscription or freemium SaaS sales motions
