About The Job
High-growth, full-service CDMO seeking a VP, Business Development to lead US commercial strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand strategic partnerships across small molecule development and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Own US revenue growth and deliver against annual targets
- Lead and scale the BD team to drive performance and execution
- Close $10M–$100M+ deals across API, drug product, and integrated services
- Build executive relationships across biotech and pharma clients
- Lead deal lifecycle, including strategy, positioning, and contract negotiations (MSAs/CDAs)
- Partner cross-functionally to win and deliver client programs
- 15+ years of BD experience within a CDMO or CMO.
- Strong background in small molecule / API / drug product
- Proven track record closing $10M+ deals
- Leadership experience managing commercial teams
- Established US biotech/pharma network
- Double-digit revenue growth
- 3–5x pipeline coverage
- Expansion of key strategic accounts
- High-growth,
investor-backed CDMO - Opportunity to build and lead US commercial strategy
- High-impact role with direct executive visibility
- 12+ years of work experience with Business Development
- 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience
- 8+ years of work experience with Small Molecules
