Johnson Hyundai of Apex is looking for motivated, personable Automotive Sales Consultants to join our team.

You don't need years of automotive experience to be successful here. Great Sales Consultants come from all kinds of backgrounds - including hospitality, retail, customer service, and relationship-based sales. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, listen to what they need, follow through, and stay motivated.

As a Sales Consultant, you'll guide customers through the vehicle-buying experience from their first conversation through delivery and beyond.

You'll:

• Welcome customers and create a friendly, professional, and comfortable sales experience.
• Ask thoughtful questions to understand each customer's needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget.
• Help customers explore new and pre-owned vehicle options.
• Present and demonstrate vehicle features, technology, safety systems, and ownership benefits.
• Conduct professional and informative test drives.
• Assist customers in evaluating purchase, lease, and trade-in options.
• Prepare and present pricing proposals in accordance with dealership guidelines.
• Partner with Sales Management and Finance to help customers move smoothly through the purchase process.
• Respond promptly to internet leads, phone inquiries, and other prospective customers.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing customers by phone, email, text, and other approved channels.
• Accurately maintain customer information and activity in the dealership's CRM system.
• Build repeat and referral business through strong customer relationships and follow-through.
• Maintain knowledge of Hyundai vehicles, dealership inventory, manufacturer programs, warranties, and competitive products.
• Complete required Hyundai and dealership training and certifications.
• Conduct professional vehicle deliveries and help customers become comfortable with their new vehicle's features and technology.
• Introduce customers to our Service team and help establish the relationship that supports them throughout vehicle ownership.

• A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under Company standards.
• Flexibility to work a retail automotive schedule, including Saturdays as required.

Previous automotive sales experience is welcome, but it isn’t required. Experience in hospitality, retail, customer service, relationship-based sales, or another performance-driven environment can translate extremely well into automotive sales.
