Marshall Yards Racing (commencing shortly). Facility includes approximately 240 state‑of‑the‑art historical racing machines (HRMs), a sports bar, a retail sports book, simulcast wagering, and food and beverage offerings.

The Security Lead Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons, employees, and company assets. This individual will also provide strategic input and assist with planning the shift.

• Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
• Delegate duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
• Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
• Answer incoming calls to the facility and direct calls or answer patron questions.
• Operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that requires a valid driver’s license.
• Train other security officers in the performance of duties.
• In the absence of Security Management, schedule other security officers on their assigned shift.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• React to patron and employee incidents and accidents.
• Monitor patron and employee passage in and out of the facility.
• Check for and report safety hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
• Must be able to work an alternate schedule with a minimum of two (2) weeks’ notice.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
• 1–2 years of security officer experience is required.
