Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you. As an Access Control professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security incidents, conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and activities per Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Collaborate with onsite staff and law enforcement as needed.
• Remain alert to potential risks and hazards and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all access control activities and security‑related events.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• X‑Ray screening experience preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Consideration of applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required per legal limits.
• Licensing requirements as required by state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
