The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applications for Full-Time Deputy position.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age at time of hire.
- Ability to pass background check.
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to pass the Illinois State Power Test.
- Willingness to live in Jasper County or surrounding county.
Lateral Transfers
- Lateral transfers are encouraged to apply. Lateral transfers are eligible for an increase in starting pay.
- Starting pay between $26.23 and $28.02, depending on experience.
- IMRF/SLEP Retirement.
- Health Insurance.
- Life Insurance.
- Two weeks paid vacation after one year.
- One sick day per month with accumulation up to 180 days.
- 3 personal days per calendar year.
- Ability to accumulate comp time.
- 12-Hour shifts with every other weekend off.
- Take home squad if applicant resides in Jasper County.
