Light Equipment Operator

Signal Energy is seeking a skilled and reliable Light Equipment Operator to join our team.

• Operate light construction equipment such as skid steers, mini‑excavators, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at job sites.
• Work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Assist with manual labor tasks as needed when equipment is not in use.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the storage of equipment and tools.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating light construction equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards is acceptable.

• Certification in equipment operation (e.g., OSHA certification).
• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Mechanical skills for minor equipment repairs.
