The Residential Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing residential units, building systems, and common areas. This role completes work orders, performs preventive maintenance, and helps ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues within residential units and common areas.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on building systems and equipment.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections, repairs, painting, and cleaning coordination.
- Repair doors, windows, locks, cabinets, flooring, drywall, and other building components.
- Replace and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and garbage disposals.
- Maintain and repair household appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, and laundry equipment.
- Assist with HVAC maintenance, filter changes, inspections, and minor repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of completed work orders, inspections, and inventory usage.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of residential, apartment, or facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple work orders and meet deadlines.
$26 - $30 a week
