Job Description
Winterberry Gardens is looking for an experienced Commercial Irrigation Equipment Operator to join our Commercial Irrigation Department.
This is a full-time traveling position that requires both in-state and out-of-state travel
. We are looking for someone with experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators
, who is comfortable traveling to different job sites as needed.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators, for commercial irrigation projects.
- Work as part of the Commercial Irrigation team on projects at various job sites.
- Travel to job sites both within Connecticut and out of state.
- Follow company and job-site safety requirements.
- Perform work safely and efficiently as part of the field team.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators
. - Valid driver's license.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability and willingness to travel both in state and out of state.
- Availability to work full-time.
Preferred
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
- Competitive pay based on experience.
- Prevailing wage rates available.
