* Purpose:

** The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for training and performing installations, service, preventive maintenance, diagnostic repair, removal, and selling of Kinetico water softeners and drinking water systems for Kinetico’s residential and commercial customers (75%). They lead a team of Field Service Technicians through day-to-day installation and service work (25%).
** Key Areas of Responsibilities:
*** Executes all processes and procedures related to product installations utilizing various software tools and mechanical devices to record data.
* Manages the customer relationship by effectively explaining the installation, repair, or replacement work being performed.
* Assists in the development and facilitation of training installation processes, procedures, and product knowledge.
* Delivers professional technical service and repair work at residential and commercial locations.
* Ensures that payment terms have been complied with prior to service work being performed.
* Provides support to service team through product knowledge and technical guidance.
* Identifies and converts add-on sales opportunities to meet sales metrics.
* Leads team of Field Service Technicians in day-to-day work including scheduling, coaching & development, managing performance, and assisting with employment decisions.
* Completes all documentation required for the customer, and for corporate record and data management.
* Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including company vehicle, company tools, and spare parts inventory.

* Meets upselling sales goals.
* Uses tools and equipment safely and properly.
* Follows procedures and accurately documents results.

*** Exercises judgment based on previous experience, practices, and precedents to identify and solve problems.
* Balance day-to-day work with additional supervisory, training, and support responsibilities.
** Physical Requirements
*** Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
* Frequent lifting of up-to 50 pounds and maneuvering up-to 100 pounds with a dolly.
* Occasional lifting up-to 125 pounds.
* Ability to use hand tools and work with small parts.
** Job Knowledge, Skills, and

Experience:

**
* Required:

High School Diploma / GED

* Required:

5+ years of technician or related experience
* Completion of Residential Pro, Residential Master, and Commercial Master academies.
* Valid drivers’ license and a clean driving record.
* Mechanical aptitude, good analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills; understanding of company product and technology
* Plumbing experience and skills (soldering); plumbing certification a plus.
* Preferred:
Prior lead technician or supervisory experience
* Strong work ethic, self-starter, and customer-focused
** Organizational Context:
** The Field Service Supervisor interacts with all levels of employees in addition to residential and commercial customers, and outside supply and service vendors. They directly manage a team of Field Service Technicians.
