We are seeking a Service Leader to coordinate day‑to‑day operations of the Discovery Coast Youth Support Service and Community Support Program based in Agnes Waters, ideally based in Agnes Water but applicants from Gladstone and surrounding areas will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional leadership to employees, emphasizing high‑quality, best‑practice service delivery.
- Lead and manage all aspects of the programs to ensure goals and objectives are met as identified in the Service Agreements within prescribed time frames and parameters.
- Work within relevant practice and quality frameworks and risk management plans.
- Tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor level) in a relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Social Science).
- Sound knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to utilize, therapeutic frameworks for individuals and families experiencing trauma, violence or financial stress.
- Understanding of challenges faced by families and communities.
- Solid knowledge of minimizing risk to community members and workers.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Current QLD driver’s licence.
- Working with Children Check – Blue Card.
