Current Florida ITDS certification is required. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or higher supporting ITDS eligibility and at least one year of qualifying post-degree, hands‑on early intervention experience with children ages 0–5 with developmental delays or disabilities. CPR/First Aid alone does not qualify. List your ITDS credential, degree, and qualifying experience in your résumé; supporting documentation must be verified before an ITDS interview.
Atlas Care is urgently hiring a fully qualified Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) to complete provider credentialing and begin building a caseload in Lake County, Florida.
POSITION DETAILS- Mobile/in-home and community-based early intervention
- Up to $30/hour, based on relevant ITDS experience. The $30/hour rate is intended for experienced ITDS providers; flexible family-based scheduling; hours are not guaranteed
- Required background screening
- Provide family-centered early intervention in homes and community settings.
- Implement IFSP outcomes within everyday routines.
- Coach parents and caregivers.
- Complete timely service notes and coordinate with families and the Early Steps team.
- 2. Degree and applicable college transcripts supporting ITDS eligibility.
- 3. Qualifying professional experience documentation/Certification of Experience, as applicable.
- 4. Early Steps Orientation completion.
- 5. Required Early Steps/ITDS training and current ITDS certificate.
- 6. Functional Outcomes and Child Outcomes Summary training, when required.
Required qualifications and supporting documentation must be available and verifiable before an ITDS interview. Qualifications that are only in process do not meet this opening's requirements. Candidates without the ITDS qualifications may be considered separately for Educational Navigator opportunities.
PROVIDER ENROLLMENT AND CREDENTIALINGIndividual NPI, applicable Florida Medicaid enrollment/status, and Early Steps credentialing/affiliation will be addressed separately during provider credentialing; these enrollment and affiliation steps are not prerequisites for interview.
Reliable transportation, willingness to serve assigned Lake County families, strong communication, confidentiality, and successful required background screening are required. CPR/First Aid is preferred and does not replace ITDS certification.
