About the Role

UpSela Talent Solutions Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated AI Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to develop innovative AI-powered applications, intelligent AI agents, and automation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, hands‑on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), and a passion for building scalable Generative AI solutions.

You will contribute to the development of next-generation AI-powered recruitment technology, including intelligent candidate sourcing, resume screening, semantic matching, and automated recruitment workflows.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent AI agents.
• Build Generative AI solutions using OpenAI, Claude, Lang Chain, and Lang Graph.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and semantic search capabilities.
• Implement AI-powered resume parsing, candidate matching, and screening automation.
• Integrate LLMs with backend APIs, databases, and business applications.
• Develop autonomous and multi-step AI agent workflows.
• Build scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Optimize AI model performance, response accuracy, latency, and operational costs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver production-ready AI features

Required Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, Generative AI, or software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, including OpenAI or similar models.
• Knowledge of Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or Llama Index.
• Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or REST API development.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases.
• Understanding of prompt engineering and AI model integration.
• Familiarity with Git, cloud platforms, and modern development practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building AI agents or multi-agent systems.
• Knowledge of Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, or pgvector.
• Experience deploying AI applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and AI workflow automation.
• Experience developing SaaS applications or AI-powered recruitment platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with real‑world Generative AI projects.
