** We’re looking for a motivated Service Now Developer with integration experience to join our Service Now Integration team. This role involves scripting and building ticket-exchange (eBonding) integrations between Service Now and third-party applications using Share Logic Unifi, and supporting those integrations once they are live.
** Skill Set:
*** Service Now platform development (server-side and client-side JavaScript, Script Includes, Business Rules, Flow Designer)
* Share Logic Unifi (Integration Designer, integrations, messages, actions, heartbeat monitoring)
* eBonding / ticket-exchange integrations (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)
* REST and SOAP web services (inbound and outbound), Scripted REST APIs
* JSON, XML and XSD / WSDL
* Service Now Integration Hub, Import Sets, Transform Maps and MID Server
* Authentication and security (OAuth 2.0, Basic, API keys, mTLS, credential management)
* Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP) and asynchronous messaging patterns
* ITSM processes and the Service Now data model
* Automated Test Framework (ATF) and integration testing
* Source control, update sets / scoped apps and Dev Ops practices
* Working knowledge of B2B / multi-vendor integration domain
* Experience integrating with Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Salesforce or other ITSM platforms – will be an added advantage
* Service Now certifications (CSA, CAD) – will be an added advantage
** Roles and Responsibilities
*** Build and customize ticket-exchange integrations using Share Logic Unifi Integration Designer, from no-code configuration to pro-code scripting.
* Develop integrations between Service Now and various end-point applications, including bi-directional sync of states, comments, work notes and attachments.
* Build and unit test services and integration scripts, using stubs / mock endpoints.
* Create reusable integration templates (golden images) to speed up partner and customer onboarding.
* Participate in test case execution (SIT / UAT) and carry out investigation by analysing integration logs, message payloads and HTTP requests.
* Monitor integration health, handle failed or stuck messages, replay transactions and resolve integration issues.
* Support Unifi and Service Now upgrades by regression-testing integrations.
* Maintain integration documentation and follow Service Now development best practices.
** You will be successful in this role if you have:
** The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the Service Now Integrations platform and must be able to act with a sense of urgency and adapt to changing priorities.
* Around 2-6 years of experience in Service Now development with integration tools
* Hands on technical knowledge in at least one of the following:
* Service Now REST / SOAP integrations and Integration Hub
* Share Logic Unifi, or other eBonding / ticket-exchange integration platforms
* Knowledge of SQL queries and database concepts
* Knowledge of cloud-native solutions using Azure / AWS / Google Cloud
* Good written and verbal communication, including with external technical teams
* Acts with a sense of urgency and is a problem solver.
