Personal Trainer

We’re hiring Personal Trainers at the RC Durr YMCA! Would you describe yourself as energetic and inspirational? Do you think going above and beyond expectations is the best feeling in the world? Spend your time building relationships with members as you work to design & implement wellness programs that help them to achieve their goals!

Starting pay is $18/hour
. Benefits may include an individual YMCA membership, program discounts, and optional retirement savings plan.

• Design and implement safe, effective and enjoyable wellness programs that will meet the unique needs and wants of individual members.
• Plan and instruct individuals, small groups or classes with a personalized approach following YMCA standards and guidelines and accurately maintain related records.
• Follow up with assigned members on a regular basis, monitoring their progress.
• Increase participant awareness of all healthy lifestyle factors.

• High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of related experience required.
• Must have current personal training certification by the YMCA, ACE, AFAA, ACSM or other YMCA of Greater Cincinnati recognized certifying agency.
• Must have current CPR and first aid certification, and must obtain YMCA Principles of Health & Fitness certification or equivalent within six (6) months of employment or first available training.
