• Pay Rate: $65,000–$85,000 first year average after all training.
• Team driving, 100% touch freight, not home daily.

What You’ll Do As a CDL‑A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL‑A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL‑A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely.
