Mid-State Ready Mix is a family owned and operated ready mix company serving Adair and surrounding counties. Mid-State was founded for the purpose of providing superior customer service in mix designs, precast materials, and concrete products.

This is a full-time, on-site CDL B Truck Driver position located in Columbia, KY. The CDL B Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of concrete and related materials to job sites. Daily tasks include performing vehicle inspections, operating and maintaining the delivery truck, adhering to traffic regulations, following delivery schedules, and ensuring the accurate placement of materials.

Additionally, the driver will communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, maintain logs, and uphold the company's safety standards during all deliveries.

• Valid CDL Class B license and a clean driving record.
• Experience in operating and maintaining commercial trucks, with knowledge of vehicle safety checks and light truck maintenance.
• Strong understanding of traffic regulations, safe driving practices, and DOT compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to professionally interact with customers and team members.
• Physical ability to climb, lift, and operate equipment as required by job responsibilities. Knowledge of concrete products and construction materials is a plus.
• High level of reliability, punctuality, and the ability to adhere to delivery schedules and deadlines.
