Johnson Hyundai of Apex is looking for a dependable and customer-focused Full-Time Parts Driver to join our Parts team.
Our Parts Driver helps keep dealership operations moving by safely and efficiently delivering automotive parts and supplies to customers, wholesale accounts, vendors, and other locations throughout the area. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys being on the road, works well independently, and takes pride in being reliable, organized, and professional.

As a Parts Driver, you'll represent Johnson Hyundai of Apex both on the road and with the customers and businesses we serve.
Responsibilities include:
- Pick up and deliver automotive parts, equipment, and supplies to customers, wholesale accounts, vendors, other dealerships, and designated locations.
- Coordinate scheduled and last-minute pickups and deliveries with the Parts team.
- Verify parts and materials against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documentation.
- Obtain required signatures and collect payments, returns, cores, paperwork, or other materials as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of daily deliveries and pickups.
- Safely load, unload, and secure parts and materials to prevent loss or damage.
- Return completed paperwork, payments, returned parts, and undelivered items to the appropriate dealership personnel.
- Keep the Parts team informed of delivery status, delays, or customer concerns.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing parts when needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the assigned delivery vehicle and Parts Department.
- Monitor the delivery vehicle for fuel, maintenance, inspection, or repair needs and promptly report concerns to management.
- Operate Company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times.
- Provide friendly and professional service to customers, vendors, and dealership personnel.
- Assist with other Parts Department responsibilities as needed.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently throughout the day.
Successful candidates should have:
- A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under Company standards.
- A commitment to safe and responsible driving.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- The ability to follow delivery instructions, invoices, purchase orders, maps, and navigation systems.
- The ability to manage assigned routes and deliveries efficiently.
- Professional communication and customer-service skills.
- The ability to work independently and exercise good judgment while away from the dealership.
- Basic computer and mobile-device proficiency.
- The ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Previous delivery, warehouse, automotive, or Parts Department experience is a plus, but not required.
