Flatbed Driver — Heavy Haul

Coils, building materials and machinery on Texas, Midwest and Mountain West lanes, where the securement is the job. You run the pre-trip and post-trip, and you have the authority to stop and get a load re-secured before you move an inch.

This is flatbed and heavy haul: steel coils, building materials and machinery moving across Texas, the Midwest and the Mountain West. The load is only as good as the securement, so this position is for drivers who take chains, straps and binders personally.

You run a full pre-trip and post-trip, including a complete securement check before you leave and again at every stop. If something has shifted, or the tarp is not right, you stop and fix it. No dispatcher here will tell you to run it anyway.

You get the right equipment for the load, a dispatcher who understands oversize and heavy freight, and the time to do the job correctly. We would rather you arrive late and safe than on time and lucky.

• Class A CDL, current and in good standing
• 12 months or more of flatbed experience
• Confident with chains, binders, straps and tarping
• A clean driving record and a safety history we can verify
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
