Field Delivery Manager - Appliances

Compensation for this role is 65,000- 75,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a
** Field Delivery Manager, Last Mile Operations at RXO**, you will support and optimize home delivery operations across locations within assigned territory.
** What your day-to-day will look like:
*** As the day-to-day field leader, you will work closely with independent contract carriers, client stakeholders, dispatch teams, and warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time deliveries.
* Success in this role requires strong operational leadership, relationship building, and the ability to influence performance without direct authority.
* Drive operational performance across multiple delivery sites and client locations.
* Monitor key operational metrics including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Voice of Customer (VOC), Overall Satisfaction (OSAT), and service-level performance.
* Conduct ride-behinds and field audits to evaluate safety, delivery quality, evaluate installation of appliances, customer experience, and compliance.
* Coach independent contract carriers and delivery teams to improve performance and service execution.
* Support daily loadouts, route planning, dispatch operations, and issue resolution.
* Serve as the primary RXO representative for day-to-day client interactions and relationship management.
* Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to support field operations and maintain strong carrier and client relationships.
* Identify future capacity needs and support carrier recruitment, onboarding, and network expansion initiatives.
** What you’ll need to excel:
** At a minimum, you’ll need:
* 4+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, home delivery, or field operations. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
* Willingness to travel regularly within an assigned territory.
* Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies

It’d be great if you also have:
* Experience in last-mile delivery, home delivery, transportation, retail fulfillment, or multi-site logistics operations.
* Experience working with independent contractors, owner operators, or third-party service providers.
* Familiarity with routing software, transportation management systems (TMS), and operational reporting tools.
* Strong customer service mindset with experience managing client relationships.
* Knowledge of safety, compliance, and quality assurance programs within transportation or logistics environments.
