CDL Driver - Ironstone

Overview

You’ll be asked to drive company trucks and aide with the loading and unloading of deliveries to our customers by hand and utilizing a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett). This position requires a valid CDL (Class

A) and manual transmission certification. Moffett experience is beneficial to performing this role. Forklift experience is a requirement.

First shift (typically 6 am - 3 pm, with occasional needs for extended hours) full-time position based out of our Lancaster warehouse located at 3009 Hempland Rd. Will drive a CDL truck nearly full-time but may be asked to also assist with driving non-CDL vehicles when needed (box trucks, straight trucks, pick-ups, etc).

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

• CDL A (Required)
• Moffett or Forklift: 2 years (Preferred)
• Building Material: 2 years (Preferred)

• Drive company vehicles to deliver loads utilizing a Moffett. Most deliveries are in the local vicinity and occasionally up to a 2 hour drive of headquarters (position does not include overnight hauling).
• Help prepare loads to fulfill customer orders.
• Pick-up customer returns, documenting what’s included.
• Review load for accuracy before departing.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers at delivery site.
• Assist with unloading items from vehicle. Position requires the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Adhering to assigned routes, safety protocols, and following schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
