Position: Distribution Selector

About the role:

The Distribution Selector will utilize general product, part number, customer, process, and business directives knowledge to ensure the consistently accurate and efficient picking of customer orders to meet productivity standards and quality initiatives.

• Accurately pick and pull products from inventory based on order specifications.
• Verify product codes, quantities, and quality to ensure accuracy and prevent error.
• Operate warehouse equipment (manual and electric pallet jack or lift) safely and efficiently.
• Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by the department.
• Contribute to a team environment by cross-training on distribution equipment and processes.
• Create a safe workspace by maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas and following safety regulations.
• Enjoyment of wearing many hats is necessary.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Demonstrated steady and consistent work history
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Dependable and consistently punctual
• Prior experience operating a manual and electric pallet jack or lift
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and written
• Friendly, engaging, and professional demeanor
• Desire to learn, seek new challenges and to take on additional responsibilities
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Must be resourceful and initiative-taking
• Self-motivated, driven individual
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to respectively reach, grasp, and push and pull
• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, stop, or kneel, reach above head, bend or twist the neck and trunk
• Must be able to stand up to 10 hours a day
