Environmental Services Worker in Valley Regional Hospital

This permanent, full-time role is part of the FMS Environmental Services team. Key responsibilities include cleaning all assigned units, such as patient rooms and public areas. You will engage in tasks like mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and changing curtains, ensuring adherence to safety and organizational health principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all patient and common areas

• Mop, dust and vacuum floors, stairways, and furniture

• Operate cleaning equipment including scrubbers and buffers

• Arrange furniture and change curtains as needed

• Uphold confidentiality and safety standards

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience

• Commitment to safety and ethical practices

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all tasks

• Access to a reliable vehicle for travel to sites

• Knowledge of French is an asset
