Lead educational excellence as the Academic Chair for Health and Human Services at NSCC's Kingstec Campus in Kentville, Nova Scotia. Drive program delivery and enhance student success in a collaborative environment.

This continuing full-time position inserts you as a key leader within two dynamic schools:
Health and Human Services and Access, Business, Creative Industries, and Education. With a focus on teaching excellence and program management, you will engage with faculty, manage budgets, and foster industry partnerships to enrich the educational experience. Utilize your seven years of progressive experience and leadership skills in a post-secondary setting to inspire faculty and students alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead program delivery across Health and Human Services and creative disciplines

• Collaborate within the Kingstec Campus management team

• Manage approximately 20 staff and 225 students

• Ensure compliance with educational standards and programming relevance

• Foster relationships with local health and education sectors

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred

• Minimum of 7 years related experience

• 5 years management or leadership experience

• Familiarity with digital teaching tools

• Commitment to equity and diversity in education
