Become a part-time Physiotherapist with Nova Scotia Health at Valley Regional Hospital. Focus on assessing and treating patients with functional impairments and disabilities in various rehabilitation environments.

This permanent part-time role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and certification with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and supervise physiotherapy students while delivering services across the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patient conditions and needs

• Provide treatment to manage pain and functional limitations

• Educate families and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques

• Supervise physiotherapy students and assistants

• Ensure exceptional interpersonal and communication with teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy

• Membership with Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator

• Annual CPR certification (BCLS)

• Knowledge in specialized physiotherapy techniques

• Competency in French is an asset
