Position: Tactical Security Officer for Healthcare
Join Paladin as a Tactical Healthcare Security Officer, ensuring safety at our Emergency Department. Utilize your customer service and conflict management skills in this engaging role.

You'll be at the forefront of responding to alarms and emergencies within the healthcare environment. Important tasks include investigating incidents, conducting physical patrols, and closely working with local law enforcement. An ability to effectively communicate and de-escalate situations is crucial in this physically demanding position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and maintain reports on security incidents

• Monitor security measures within the Emergency Department

• Provide direct support to hospital staff during incidents

• Assist in patient restraint protocols per standard procedures

• Engage visitors and perform s to ensure safety

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant security experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Must obtain Security License for Nova Scotia

• Required certifications in First Aid & CPR - Level C

• Training in Use of Force and MOAB preferred

Make a difference daily in healthcare security while supporting the Emergency Department team.
