As a designated Adult Protection Worker, you will work closely with various departments and community agencies. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct investigations according to the Adult Protection Act
• Develop care plans addressing protective client needs
• Complete assessments on client capacity and risk levels
• Ensure effective case management and oversight
• Document and maintain accurate electronic records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with 4 years' experience
• Master’s degree in Social Work with 2 years' related experience
• Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers
• Developed negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of counselling techniques for crisis situations
