Senior Software Engineer - Billing Team

Become a vital contributor to Stack Adapt's Billing team as a Senior Software Engineer. Focus on designing and optimizing backend systems alongside payment integrations and invoicing solutions.

The ideal candidate will serve as a senior individual contributor overseeing the billing infrastructure within Stack Adapt's platform. Key responsibilities include debugging scalable systems, optimizing performance, and engaging in architecture and code reviews. You'll also have opportunities to mentor fellow engineers and lead projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and debug complex scalable backend systems

• Improve system performance and tackle bottlenecks

• Participate in technical planning and code reviews

• Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical interviews

• Own projects end-to-end for the Billing team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in high-performance web applications

• Proficiency in backend technologies and relational databases

• Familiarity with React, Type Script, Graph

QL, and Go

• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is a plus

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
