Delivery Agent - Temporary Role

Join Canada Post as a Delivery Agent on a temporary basis in Kentville, Nova Scotia. This role involves mail sorting and outdoor delivery duties across the community.

Canada Post has openings for on-call Delivery Agents to aid in mail distribution. Your responsibilities will include sorting and preparing deliveries, loading postal vehicles, and ensuring timely delivery to customers. Flexibility in shift availability is crucial, as you may work evenings and weekends, adapting to the demands of delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Start daily operations by sorting deliveries at the depot

• Drive postal vehicles for routes mapped out each day

• Deliver packages and letters using efficient methods

• Return to unload incoming items from deliveries

• Maintain accurate records and reports on deliveries

Requirements:

• Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with three years' experience

• Able to lift up to 22.7 kg and carry lighter items regularly

• Capable of working in various weather conditions

• On-call availability, including nights and weekends

• Proficient in English and/or French
