Salary Range: $73,000 - $112,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and modify tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing processes.
- Optimize existing tooling for improved performance, efficiency, and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex tooling issues, implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, design, and quality teams to define tooling requirements and integrate solutions.
- Manage tooling projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and supplier coordination, from concept to implementation.
- Establish and implement preventative maintenance programs and ensure tooling compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in tooling design, development, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA) for tooling design and drafting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, or CNC machining and their tooling requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and implement solutions for tooling-related issues.
- Knowledge of tooling materials, heat treatment processes, and surface finishes.
- Proficiency in advanced CAD/CAM software for simulation and analysis.
- Experience applying Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to tooling optimization.
- Project management experience for complex tooling development and implementation.
- Knowledge of automation and robotics integration with tooling systems.
