Location:

Grand Rapids, MI. Shift: Monday‑Friday 1:00 pm–9:00 pm. 40 hours per week, overtime as needed.

Responsible for staging loads, receiving raw materials, organizing storage, and performing shipping tasks. Required forklift experience and a safety‑focused mindset.

• Competent reading, writing, math, and problem‑solving skills.
• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co‑workers.
• High‑School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Automotive and computer literacy preferred.
• Ability to lift and twist for 8‑10 hour shifts.
• Ability to obtain a HILO license.

• Reading and writing skills adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
• Problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literacy.
• Computer tasks for shipping of goods and electronic communications to customers.
• Use of copier/scanner and barcode scanner.
• Print BOLs and send ASNs electronically.

• Responsible for staging loads for shipment.
• Receiving raw material and returnable containers.
• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
• Entry of count point and receiving paperwork for inventory control and scheduling.
• Load trucks to meet customer requirements.
• Housekeeping/5S; ongoing safety initiatives.
• Uphold processes and procedures as defined by supervision.
• Organize empty containers in storage.
• Take care of components, cardboard, fiber and place them in correct location on plant floor.
• Assist with monthly and yearly inventory.
• Haul empty containers outside of the facility and keep area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
