Setup Technician - Kentwood Area

Salary Range: $42,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

• Install, align, and adjust tooling, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.

• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment during setup changes.

• 2-5 years of experience in machine setup, operation, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
• Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards (e.g., GMP).

• Experience with specific machinery types (e.g., CNC, robotics, injection molding).
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
• Basic electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.
