Key Responsibilities- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections and tests according to specifications.
- Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and generate non-conformance reports.
- Identify and quarantine non-conforming materials or products, assisting with disposition processes.
- Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional measurements using various inspection tools and equipment.
- Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE).
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and company quality standards.
- High school diploma or GED;
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. - 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T.
- Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management principles.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
- Proficiency with CMM programming or advanced metrology software (e.g., Minitab)
- Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience performing internal audits or working within specific industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100)
