Quality Technician

You’re the last line of defense between a safe, delicious product and a costly recall. As a Quality Technician on the 1st shift in Grand Rapids, you’ll patrol five production lines, performing hourly checks, logging results, and flagging any issues—whether it’s a mislabel, allergen risk, or sanitation lapse. It’s fast-paced, detail-heavy, and mission-critical. If you’ve ever caught a typo in a recipe and thought, “That’s not right,” this job’s for you.

Bonus: no need to binge-watch food safety documentaries—you’ll be living one. This Grand Rapids facility is part of a large-scale food manufacturing network producing snacks, baked goods, and packaged foods for major brands across North America. With over 27 locations and a reputation for quality and speed, they’re a behind-the-scenes powerhouse in the food industry. Your day starts at 7:55 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m., with hourly quality checks across multiple lines.

You’ll monitor HACCP points, verify allergen protocols, ensure sanitation standards, and document everything precisely. You’ll also manage product holds, retain samples, and support test runs or audits as needed.
