Job DescriptionRenewal by Andersen (RbA) invites a Design Consultant to join our Michigan Market team. You will provide a world‑class homeowner experience through in‑home sales consultations lasting about 90 minutes. You’ll conduct 8‑12 appointments per week, showcasing Renewals’ exclusive product and installation process. Success requires emotional intelligence, active listening, and the ability to recommend and close solutions that meet customer needs. Consultants are trained to offer a wide range of window, patio door, and entry door options.

- Conduct in‑home sales consultations, leveraging an iPad and augmented reality to design and build window and door replacement solutions.
- Follow established Renewal Sales and measurement processes through completion, submitting necessary contracts and paperwork for each project.
- Drive personal vehicle and be able to travel 1,800‑2,500 miles per month to in‑home appointments.
- Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and branch meetings.
- Assist with technical measurement appointments/installations and support the sales project process, including documentation, order changes, discounting guidelines, and maintaining communication with homeowners.
- Strong persuasive skills and the ability to overcome objections and close sales.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a passion for providing a world‑class homeowner experience.
- Value collaboration and build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Positive mental attitude and drive to exceed goals in a competitive industry.
- Basic computer and iPad skills.
- Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license and/or ability to obtain an In‑Home State License (requirements vary by state).
- Ability to routinely lift/move items weighing up to 53 pounds and perform frequent sitting, walking, reaching at waist level, and stair climbing.
- Meet and maintain company sales metrics and performance expectations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, OR minimum 2 years of experience.
Pay is based on several factors including work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn over $150,000 a year.
Pay Range$21.80 - $31.60

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate, paid in quarterly installments.
