Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor on duty.

Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Part-Time

To provide the best customer service and maximize sales through efficient execution of Company procedures and to uphold the Gold Standards.

• Help customers locate merchandise and provide product knowledge.
• Verify proper product rotation and basic stocking of merchandise.
• Operate handheld Telxon and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Remove damaged merchandise from floor as needed.
• Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
• Assist customers with special order requests and sales.
• Attend store and job-related meetings along with completion of required in-store trainings.
• Communicate effectively with Customers, Management, and all employees.
• Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
• Ensure that your work area is clean and has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
• Operate cash registers and assist with customer carry outs on an as-needed basis.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays (No Exceptions).
• Able to operate pallet jacks and/or tow motors and/or learn to do so.
• Weightlifting capability up to and including 50 lbs.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be required as assigned.

• Complete special projects as directed by management.

• Minimum age: 16 years old.
• Must possess great customer service and communication skills.

Team members who average a minimum of 25 hours per week after six months of employment are eligible for standard dental, vision, accident, legal, and identity fraud protection per standard Company eligibility requirements.

Pre-Employment Drug Test Policy

In accordance with Iowa Code 730.5, Keokuk Farm & Home Supply conducts pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for applicants who have received a conditional offer of employment. A conditional offer of employment will be withdrawn if an applicant refuses to submit to a test or has a confirmed positive result. Applicants will be provided with a copy of the Company’s full drug and alcohol testing policy, which includes information on the substances tested for and the procedures for contesting a positive result.
