Industrial Security Officer

Full Time Industrial Security Officer – Keokuk, IA

Wage: $14.50/hr

Schedule: Sat – Sun: 6AM – 2PM Mon – Tues: 2PM – 10PM

Base pay: $14.00/hr – $14.00/hr actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation.
• Secure entrances and exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers, signage, and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid effect and appropriate escalation.
